The Flatline (LHS) and Prototype No1.

Concept Symetry Guitar Testing - This is a workhorse guitar .

Although it is a dream to build your own guitar, it is only realised if the instrument performs.

The original prototype, known as No1, was tested exhaustively in the studio, at home

and played live at many gigs and festivals like the Cosmic Puffin.

It had fantastic reflexes, sustain and tone but it was too heavy!

The Concept Symetry Flatline was the refinement of that prototype

and it too was rigorously tested and played live.

It was also used to lay down the SoundCloud demo tracks produced by

talented young producer Sam Wale of Sam Wale Productions.

The original Flatline underwent several refinements following advice from

many experienced musicians and the excellent tech guys at

Trevor Durrant's Guitar Centre in Colchester.

The current design, the layout and disposition of the controls, the weight (11 lb)

is all down to the input of many enthusiatic individuals and musicians.

Most surprisingly they all wanted more simplicity in the controls.

One tone , one volume and a three way switch is enough.

(Although my own has a coil tap on both coils).
